Holiday

You are entitled to 25 days paid holiday in each calendar year, plus recognised English bank and public holidays. Holiday entitlement is calculated on a pro rata basis during the first and final year of employment.

The holiday year is from 1st September to 31st August. A maximum of 5 days of holiday which is not taken within the holiday year can be carried over and taken in a subsequent holiday year. The Company will not make a payment for holiday not taken except for any holiday owed to you when you leave the Company. If when you leave the Company you have taken a holiday exceeding your entitlement, the Company will deduct the appropriate payment calculated on a pro rata basis from any payment owing to you.

The Company may withhold payment of accrued holiday pay if, at the end of your employment, you do not work your full notice period. A maximum of 3 weeks may be taken consecutively if approved by your Account Manager. Employees are expected to keep a record of all holidays taken. Written approval must normally be obtained from your Account Manager at least one month before any requested holiday absence begins.

Extra Holiday Days

As a thank you for your continued commitment to Doza, you'll earn an extra day of holiday for every year of service — up to a maximum of 5 additional days on top of your standard entitlement. These build up automatically, so the longer you're with us, the more time off you get to enjoy.
